New to Proteus software.
Decided a simple 555 timer PWM circuit to jump into Proteus. When I run simulation, I get a flag stating the following.
"Simulation is not running in real time due to excessive CPU load. @0.003462247s"
The proteus oscilloscope does not show any PWM signal, however the red and blue alternating indicators are alternating as if the simulation is running.
The CPU is an i5-6300U at 2.4 gigahertz.
The CPU is not overclocked and running Windows 10 and only used for Proteus.
Any idea what may cause this?
simulation flag
Re: simulation flag
This message tells that wanted timesteps cannot be achieved with the "Timestep per frame" setting of Proteus. This might depends by a plethora of reasons: circuit frequency too high, the circuit is difficult to converge because of circuit errors, or because of bad simulation model, Ground reference missing, Proteus settings wrong, CPU and configuration of your machine not performant enough, ecc.
For any doubt you may attach here your .pdsprj project file and we can have it a look at.
