automatic narrowing of tracks

I'm trying to design a PCB
In the automatic routing I checked "automatic narrowing of tracks"

But during automatic routing, there is never any track narrowing that is done and the result is not terrible.

By correcting the tracks manually, you can actually shrink them...

Is there such a thing as automatic shrinkage or not?

Hi,

The Autorouter will take the easiest option. In your case the autorouter has no need to neck the tracks as there is another route available.

On the first picture we can see that the auto router was not able to complete the circuit.
While it was easy enough by narrowing down a few tracks and going between the pellets...
