This one has me stumped. In the past, I've had a project whose name included the string 'eDD-control'.
I don't know what happened but at some point I noticed that all other projects derived from that original circuit showed a part of that string in the bottom legend as shown in this screen shot clip ('DD-contro'). 'cmd crosscoupling' is the project name.
I can't get rid of it, no matter what I tried.
When I go to PCB layout and generate the gerbers, the string 'DD-cont' is also appended to the gerber output file name(s).
What is it, and how can I get rid of it??

Re: Unable to change project name
It will likely be in Layout module , Technology Menu -> Set Board Properties.
For multi-board designs it can also be changed in DXP.

Thanks Ian, that's where it's at, indeed!
To my chagrin, that field cannot be left empty, so you are forced to add a string to the file name when you generate the Gerbers.
You can make it a space, but that seems a bit awkward.
