PIC18 Project not behaving

Post by Ianr »

Another for you Ettore.

A pic18f46k22 with an LED array ( Graphical screen not used yet!)

All in the zip..... It has to be a stupid mistake, but the code compiles well, but will not start.

Cheers

Okay..

It's definately Coff related... If I run the hex, it starts and runs...

It's something related to VSM Debugger. We are investigating.

I now think the creating of "COFF" isn't a good thing... I just tested my issues both with PIC24 and PIC18 and runs perfectly without loading the COFF and just running the HEX file.

No warnings NO issues..

The issue is definitely in the latest VSMDEBUG.DLL as with the previous version the things work with .coff files.
I'm not directly involved in the VSMDEBUG module development but I have informed all dev group.

I think previous 8.13 version won't run files created with latest 8.14.

Back on 8.13... Works beautifully.

No transient warnings or problems.. I had to remake the project.
