MCP4152 Digital Potentiometer

I have tested some simple circuits with Arduino controlled MCP4152/4251 8 bit digital potentiometers, but none of them works. The only model that works is the MCP41XXX. Any suggestions on what I can do to use MCP4152 and others 8 bit models?
