MAX906x
MAX906x
MAX 9061 to 9064, model problem.
Doesn't simulate, shows no model "MAX9064ITF", when I check the model in "make device" program gets stuck on "DESC" and I have to close and reopen program to get out of "DESC" loop.
Thanks,
Rob

Re: MAX906x
Unfortunately I've been not able to reproduce your problem. To me all MAX906x parts simulate well and I didn't get the MAX9064ITF error.
You can delete "DESC" in the list as it's useless there; it must be a glitch in the library part generation, but this has nothing to do with simulation issues.
If you can post the circuit where you get the problem then I can check if I get the same.

Re: MAX906x
Thanks Ettore.
The 1640 is excluded from sim here. I have tried the 8064 in a simple circuit.
It's a little strange. I read your response and set up a test sch. and it worked fine but in this circuit I get:

Re: MAX906x
Can you please post the .pdsprj project file. The .JPG above has got a bad resolution so I cannot set it up myself.

Re: MAX906x
I had to exclude LT1763 because of spice model missing and remove a DC generator to U6 pin 1.
Having done that I got the MAX9064 in your project simulating ok, as shown in the next screen shot:

Re: MAX906x
Thanks Ettore, I missed the double gen on U6, I must have inadvertently removed the "exclude from simulation" on the LT1763. Have a nice holiday.

Re: MAX906x
Even this version works fine to me.
Check your installation, in particular your models path with System->System Settings, Simulator Settings tab.
The correct model path should be "C:\ProgramData\Labcenter Electronics\Proteus 8 Professional\MODELS"
Also check if in other directories you have an old model version of MAX906x (for example for Proteus V7.xx), as if so there may have interference with the correct model in the default model path.
