MAKE DEVICE MCP2515

I have edited a generic 18 pin device to to be a MCP2515 chip purely for schematic use.

But when I make device and save it to the USERDVC library all the pin numbers disappear and are replaced by ?

You forgot to attach the project file.
Anyway, I guess you get '?' instead of the pin number as you didn't link a suitable Packaging to your schematic symbol. If no Package is attached to the part then the pin number makes no sense.

I attached generic 18 pin package I think but as you say just get ?

Yes, it seems you're correct. I confirm the problem with attachments files in the new version of the forum.

Ok. The problem is because - for some reason - the pin numbers are missing in the A column.

In order to make things working again you need first to press "Delete" to remove the package and then press again "Add" to link a fresh DIL18.
This will add the pin numbers automatically and save you from adding them all manually.
However I attach the fixed file for your convenience.

Hmm sorry i can't open that file as my Proteus is only 8.3 SP2.

I'll try and fix my version.
