Duplicate part reference: D? [D?]

Post by John K »

I am simulating a circuit with a BAV99 double diode. Because the symbol used too much space, I made a new symbol and created a new component with the same name BAV99 with the new schematic symbol in the User library. When I try to simulate, everything seems to work OK, but when I stop the simulation I get the error message: Duplicate part reference: D?. I created a new schematic with only this component, and this happens even if the circuit only consists of this component on its own, see schematic attached.
Probably this error is of no significance for the simlation, but is there any way to get rid of this error message?

After further investigations, I found that the flaw was due to the Zetex model. When I changed to a diode from Diodes Inc. the problem was solved. So it had nothing to do with the redrawing of the symbol.
