Via selection from drill span

Post by ndx »

Jello,
I am designing a 4 layers HDI board, layers are TOP - I1 - I2 - BOTTOM. I have 4 types of vias:
- THRU: TOP-I1-I2-BOTTOM
- INNER: I1-I2
- MICRO-TOP: TOP-I1
- MICRO-BOTTOM: I2-BOTTOM

THRU and INNER are regular vias, so 0.2 mm drill, 0.45 mm diameter.
Both MICRO are micro vias, 0.1 mm drill, 0.25 mm diameter.

When I create tracks and vias, proteus is able to automatically select the drill span (TOP-BOTTOM, TOP-I1, I2-BOTTOM, I1-I2) but I have to manually adjust the via size.

Is there a way to have automatic via configuration ?
What I'd like is a mapping from drill spans to via.

The via style is currently part of the net class configuration. If you haven't set up net classes then most likely it will be the default for the SIGNAL net class.

Having it by net class is not helpful, what would make sense it to have a link between the drill span and the via style so that when you change the drill span the via style adapts.
