8.16 SP0 trace editing very buggy

Post by reesesm »

Hi
When is the next update expected? 8.16 SP0 has many bugs when editing traces.
Example 1. I moved the via in image ViaMove_1.png to make the top trace a straight line and once I released the mouse, the trace looked like ViaMove_2.png.
There also seem to be double traces left all over the place when adding or altering traces. DoubleTrace_1.png shows the trace before I grabbed it and dragged it down. There is a partial trace left behind going to where the white dot is. DoubleTrace_2.png.
I also notice very often the place where you move something to is not where it ends up. It seems to move one position either up, down, left or right.

+1, same thing here.

I add that track width is no more consistent when adding a new trace or editing an existing one.
Select a width in track selector, and trace added or edited has other width value !
This wasn't the case in previous versions.

Hi,

Thank you for pointing these out, There are cases for both of these issues and should be fixed for the next service pack.

Regards,
Dave.
