Hello from France,
I'm not an ace with proteus...
On my future PCB, i will have a lot of terminalblocks.
On the schématic, i want to have pins with A,B,C,D, etc, not 1,2 1,2 1,2 (i use only 2 pins TB)
I start from TBLOCK-M2 in the library. I decompose/edit properties
Pin name A, Defaut pin number 1
Pin name B, Defaut pin number 2
Make device
Now the pin's name is ?
I do the same but
Pin name 1, defaut pin number A
Pin name 2, defaut pin name B
Make device
Now the pin's name is always 1 and 2
Where i do a misstep ?
Thank you in advance
philippe
Renamed pins want not to be renamed
Re: Renamed pins want not to be renamed
Hi,
When you rename the pin names they will become unbinded from the associated package - which gives you the '?' on the Pin. When you remake the schematic part you will need to reassign the correct pins to the correct pads in the Packaging Tool section of the Make Device form:
Kind regards,
Dave.

Re: Renamed pins want not to be renamed
Thank you but may be am i dum, impossible to arrive to me target...
I will solve my problem by creating 13 tblocks for 26 letters
J1 for A,B J2 for C,D etc
Now its how i want but each letter is put just in the circle in the end of the pin (inside the tblock) and they is the same size, black on brown, my old eyes don't appreciate Thanks

Re: Renamed pins want not to be renamed
Hi,
Is this not what you are after? (Note I only did an 18 pin variant not 26!).
If you need further assistance please email your customer number to support@labcenter.com, or alternatively see the Help Tutorial 'Creating New Devices'.
Kind regards,
Dave.
