Our library part vendors have all recently been approached by Mentor Graphics who have objected to the direct export of library parts in the PADS ASCII format for use with Proteus. You may notice therefore that Proteus is temporarily removed as a supported tool on the SnapEDA, Ultra-Librarian and Samacsys websites. Users can still download PADS ASCII files by selecting a Mentor tool at point of download and then importing in the usual way.
We are working on an alternative file format and we expect this to become available in time for the official release of Version 8.9 (eta 3-4 weeks). Please bear with us.
