I found a problem with the PKP files from Proteus 8.6SP0, but there is a workaround.

There is a new line added in the PKP files "Assembly variant:". This causes problems with SmtAssistant -- it complains about the file. I edited the PKP file to remove this line in the header and it worked fine.

It would be great if SmtAssistant was updated to support this, but at least these is a workaround. SmtAssistant is VERY useful!
