Isolated resistor network - simulation

Post by fennelly »

Hi

I need a resistor network - with 4 isolated resistors in a Sip package.

I have created a device and linked it to the correct package. (attached).

It works fine for PCB layout - however I would like an updated model for simulation - can someone indicate how this can be done.
The resistors need to act as analog resistors.

Also - I would like to be able to do pin swop and element swop in Ares.

Regards

Frank

It is attached here in the zip file.

The schematic model is in the NET8SIP.pdsprj; point RN1 with mouse and press CTRL+C to see the schematic of the model within the part.
CTRL+X to return at the Root sheet. The file NET8SIP.MDF is the compiled version of the model; Tool->Model Compiler.

As for you have created RES8SIP it only allows for pin swap but not gate (element) swap. In order to get gate swap as well you need to create your network as a multi-element homogenous . The file 'Isolated_resistor_network_1.pdsprj' shows how this is done.

Thanks for the help Ettore

I will use NET8SIP for now and come back creating a multi-element homogenous device later.
