I Rob,
for your own components, you can use a Pin with SYMBOL=POINT, and use a simple 2D line to draw "pin arm".
Little project as an exemple :

Thanks Ettore.

Re: Board outline in 3D viewer
Hi Jan,
3D viewer let you see not rectangular outlines :
You must choose 2D closed path and be sure end point join start point.

Remy

CD4538 different time constant for each part
Hi, Proteus 8.6 SPO Build 23165 can't specify different time constant for each part of this double monostable. When changing value of first part (4538:A), the value of second part (4538:B) take the value assigned to first part. And vice-versa. Don't remember if this was the case in previous versions...

Re: Simulating back-to-back MOSFETs
Graph / traces : you can define a trace to let it draw data from one or more probes, with or without intermediate calculation (expression). For exemple, you can add two probes "current" and "voltage" on the schematic, and "combine" them to get a single trace showing pow...

Re: COMPIM in RS232 communication
COMPIM allow you to get real communication via physical RS232 port attached to your computed (integrated port or virtual port thru USB/RS232 adapter).
Extremely usefull to see how interact external physical module (conected to computer) with your simulated part in Proteus !

Re: multiline component labels
Hi, one way is to edit component properties (right click / Edit properties or CTRL+E), and add multilines text in "Other properties" field. In this case each line is viewed as single lines text, and keep attached to component. You can also add a propertie to an existing component without d...

Voltage controlled sin gen 20-20k and scope in XY mode
Hi, I want to show to my studients, bandwidth representation of a low-pass filter with Proteus scope used in XY mode (and so, in real time sim, not on an advanced/frequency graph). I tried to use 2 VSM generators, first for sin gen and second for wobulation. This works, but can't sweep on full audio...

Re: Allocating a pcb package to generic inductors
You can add a "Package" propertie line in the "Other properties" field in Edit Component form. For example : {PACKAGE=VK200} If after adding this line you decide to not display all properties values "as text" (checkbox "Edit all properties as text" unchecked),...

Another interresting solution, even if in my case there is no carrier but only pure audio.
Thank you very much Ettore

Re: Time / Amplitude in dB graph : how ?
Thanks Ettore for this fast answer and your explanation.
Use of 'computed traces' in a graph was what I made before asking question, but use of AVCVS primitive is more simpler that my solution.

Time / Amplitude in dB graph : how ?
Hello, perhaps an idiot question, but I can't find how to get an amplitude in dB, relative to time, in an analog graph. I search how to plot amplitude response of an audio envelope/shape generator in a lin and log fashion. Frequency and AC sweep graphs allow to choose linear or dB for Y scale, but o...

Hi Paul, I used 74165 model several times and it works well.
