Re: Conflict between copper zone and a lot of pins
Arghh ! Simply added a LED and res, and overlap problem come back, exactly at the same place (sames numerous pins). After some test with file copy and workspace file deleting, I found following behaviour : - Made a copy of the "faulty" project (workspace file of the copy is not yet created...

Conflict between copper zone and a lot of pins
Hi, on a project finished 2 months ago (V1.0) and where all was OK for gerber export (20 PCB made and assembled OK), I had to make minor changes (V1.1 - extended a little the top ground plane, and moved some caps). After re-opening "old V1.0 good" project and made modifications and save (V...

Re: Audio Power Amplifier
Hi Barry, in a first step, you can try set simulator options to "Setting for better convergence" : System > Set Simulation Options > Drop list at the bottom of the option window "Setting for better convergence" Press "Load" button to get this setup applied. For an advan...

Re: Moving symbols and wires inside the schematic sheet
Hi, remember a similar problem in one of my projects, due to "bad point connection" on a wire (point drawn but not effective, not visible without moving it)... Found faulty zone by moving only some components inside the desired block, until "no move" problem occurs again (selecte...

Re: Simulate two Microcontroller at the same time
Hi,
yes, you can simulate two PIC on the same project.
Simply specify hex or coff file for both uC, in uC properties dialog.

Re: Creating an intermediary ground
In your case, no need to use a second ground symbol/terminal.
Simply shift your negative/positive source signal by adding it an offset voltage (+2,5V), so it will be always in the positive range and can be sampled by the ADC.

3D viewer don't show all pins on several QFP packages
Hi,
3D viewer show pins only on 2 sides with several QFP packages :
(seen with 44 pins, 64 pins and 100 pins)
Thanks,
Remy

Re: 8.6 wire routing - change in behaviour
+1 with Andrew Larkin for wire side. Moving parts sometimes drive undesired "new auto-wiring" that needs more reajustements (more mouse operations, more time spent), depending on how parts were initially placed and where they go. In the following exemple, moving U2 in vertical direction af...

Variants and simulation
Hi, actually, when you create variants from base design, all excluded parts of a variant (grayed out on schematic) are always simulated. Is there a way to exclude from simulation all parts that are excluded in selected variant, keeping this parts simulated in base design (of course without select th...

Re: Problem with Planes
Hi, another way to do this : - In schematic, add a GND symbol and name it GND-PPTOP (no need to connect it to a component). In the Power rail configuration edit box, create a new power rail that you call GND-PPTOP. Link "GND-PPTOP" unconnected power net to this new created power rail. - On...

Re: 45 degree parts
Simply open my project, and "POINT" symbol should be added to the list.
You can also pick the "NULL" symbol in the actual symbols lib :
Pick Pins > SYSTEM > NULL"
or
Pick Pins > SYSTEM > NULL WITH NAME
Edit : As Andrew said
