Re: APA102C Pin Out

Hi Barry,

simply hover mouse on a pin and you'll can see its name in status bar :
- "left" pins : CI (Clock Input) and DI (Data Input)
- "right" pins : CO (Clock Output) and DO (Data Output)

Re: Some SamacSys/SnapEDA PDIF parts can't be loaded

Hi, problem seems solved for SamacSys parts (thanks !), but remain for SnapEDA. Parts NMJ4HCD2, NMJ6HCD2, NRJ4HF, NRJ6HF (and others) can't be imported (always the same error message) : - proteus_v8-12-SP2_schem-import-err_SnapEda_Neutrik_001a.gif - proteus_v8-12-SP2_schem-import-err_SnapEda_Neutrik...

Some SamacSys PDIF parts can't be loaded

Hi, - All nsj12.* parts (jack 1/4" stacking stereo) can't be loaded in device lib, due to parsing error at line xxx. - proteus_v8-12_schem_Import-err_SamacSys_nsj12_001a.gif - There are other items that can't be loaded (not listed here). Searched "pdif error" in forum, but found nothi...

Re: Proteus Pcb Layout Designer wanted.

Hi Peter,

sent you some questions by PM.
FYI, new Proteus file format don't allow you to re-open project in an old Proteus version...

Re: PIC 12f1572 DAC

Problem solved.

Low voltage I got on DAC output was due to a stupid error in my code
(line RA0 was set as output instead of input).

Thanks to Ettore !

Re: PIC 12f1572 DAC

OK, thanks.
I'll add an amplifier x100 to get full range from the actually limited 0..50 mV DAC output when working with the 5 bits.

Re: PIC 12f1572 DAC

Thanks, Ettore.

My USC is outdated.
Last week, I asked French distributor for an update, but I'm not sure I can pay it before next month.
Is it possible to get corrected PIC model before renewing USC ?

Thanks,
Remy

PIC 12f1572 DAC [solved]

Hi, 12F1572 DAC is supposed to be 5-bits converter. But in VSM, DAC output seems to work as a 8-bits (or more ?) converter. - Proteus_12F1572_DAC_001a.jpg - DACCON1<7:5> bits are normally unimplemented. DAC output voltage relation is "coherent" with DACPSS bits (FVR_Buffer2 or VDD as Ref+)...

Re: How to rotate any components to any desired angle?

Only 90 and multiple of 90 are allowed in ISIS schematic.
In ARES component placement, you can do more.

Re: schematics and footprint

Hi, - in Isis shematic, select new part (46K22) in device selector - put this new part over the old one (QFP 45K22) by drag/release, and answer YES when Proteus ask you if you want to replace the actual part The package assigned to new part after replacement is normally the same as package of previo...

All is OK with the new model received this day, daisy chaining now works with DS input.
Thanks ! :D

74HC(T)597 model OK ?

Hello, loading and shifting D0..D7 parallel inputs works, but I can't get DS serial input working. As stated in DS, rising edge on SHCP (PL=1 and MR=1) normally allow DS data go to "internal chip Q0" (and shift to Q after 8 clock pulses). On my test project, 8 x 74HCT597 are daisy chained....

Re: Conflict between copper zone and a lot of pins

Hi Richard,

changing clearance value didn't made difference for me : overlap were always present, but not always for the same count of components.
Problem have been solved by updating from V8.6 to V8.7.
