Re: Problem in GPS Simulation
Hi,
Yes, unfortunately Google have changed their policies which has broken the Google end of the Sample project. We will need to either fix the Google issue or use a different mapping platform.

Dave.

Re: autorouting without via under components
Hi Michael, Unfortunately not with the Autorouter. Maybe manually route the components around the components that you don't want vias under? Otherwise Keepouts are the only current option. You can place Keepouts on a specific layer, so Bottom copper would still be able to route through it if you hav...

Re: First PCB Help..
Hi, These errors should be self explanatory, there are tracks touching pads that are not on the same net. I have simply moved the tracks around to make sure they are not touching anything else. PAD-TRACE = there is a pad too close to a Trace, or visa versa. Fix is to move the trace away from the pad...

Re: First PCB Help..
Hi Peter,
You would need to upgrade to PCB Design Level 2. You would pay the price difference between the Level that you have and the Level 2.

Dave.

Hi Peter,
Looks fine to me. Not sure why you have the un-connected terminals on the schematic, but they're not doing any harm. This is what your board would look like:

Hi, Go to Technology Menu > Set Board Properties and make it 50mm x 50mm. Put a false origin at the top left of the box (O on the keyboard). Go to the Output menu > Set Out put origin. Find the centre i.e. coordinate 25x25mm and place the output marker. Move the board in to the work area. Toggle the...

Re: First PCB Help..
Hi Peter, Welcome to the World or Proteus! All footprints are configurable by decomposing them and changing as required, then remaking in to your libraries under a different name. Alternatively if the footprint or device is not in our libraries, you can make your own. May I suggest that you have a r...

Hi,
Yes replicate in Z-Theta (Polar) mode. See the ARES Tutorial help file > Appendix > Packaging the Footprint > Circular Pad placement. This also is the same for placing components in a circle.
Regards,
Dave.

Re: automatic narrowing of tracks
Hi,
The Autorouter will take the easiest option. In your case the autorouter has no need to neck the tracks as there is another route available.
Regards,
Dave.
