Thanks, that appears to work.

What has gone wrong with my display
Hi, I have a strange issue which has only just happened, I am not sure if it is the design as it is the only time I have used 2 sheets. It was OK but now the outer of the display has disappeared, it comes back most times when I run the simulation but others it does not and the display does not work....

SHT31 simulation
Hi,
I have just ordered an Adafruit SHT31 board but there is not a device model in my version (V8.8 SP1). Is there a SHT31 model for V8.9 SP2?
If not does anyone knowe if one of the models that is there would be compatible.
Regards,
Bob

Are microcontroller registers available
Hi, Not exactly sure where to start here, as CAN simulation is not likely to happen in my lifetime I am wondering if I can do something myself. Basically all I care about is how the code in other microcontrollers work in relation to each other so (simplistically) what I am thinking about is if one m...

Hi Ettore,
Thanks for your assistance, I had tried that earlier but not with the resistors, all working now

Re: 4051 does not appear to work
Hi Ettore,
Thanks for your reply, I have tried it with both analog and digital resistors but now I get nothing on both channels? Bob

4051 does not appear to work
Hi, I am trying to use a 4051 as a de-multiplexer but it does not appear to work (it is probably me but I thought I would ask anyway). I have the analog output feeding in to pin 3 and then 2 outputs (pins 13/14) which I have on the scope. Pin 11 selects the output but as you can see from the scope i...

DS18B20 simulation query
Hi, I am using a DS18B20 1 wire sensor (ISIS V 8.1), all works fine but when I go from 127.9 degrees to 128.0 the temperature goes to -16.0, this is correct for the bit pattern sent. The question I have is the datasheet states 125 degrees maximum so is this an error in the simulation or does the act...

CAN simulation idea
Hello, I have had a bit of a thought on this, it appears CAN is not going to happen in my lifetime so I wondered if a different approach could be done. As far as I am aware, when using a CAN enabled PIC, the registers are written to but nothing else, if the data could be loaded into the RX buffers o...

Re: Push button for HDL
Hi Ettore, Thanks for that, that is pretty much what I was aiming to do, after looking at the code I have to admit I would never have figured it out myself. I have to admit I find the help file for the HDL rather cryptic but now I can go through it and hopefully learn from it as I can see how it int...

Re: Push button for HDL
Hello Ettore, I am still struggling with this, it is the continuous sequence that I can not get. In my original attempt, on one button, on every click I incremented a counter and changed the outputs 00, 01, 11, 10, 00 and so on, this works fine. What I am trying to do is to get the other button to c...

Re: Push button for HDL
Hello Ettore, Thans for your reply, I am getting somewhere now, I decided to just modify an existing one for now. I have 2 issues at present, 1, I can not quite get it to do what I require 2, more important, if I try to have a loop it crashes ISIS. *SCRIPT PROGRAM 7493 ALIAS RA=R0(1), RB=R0(2) PIN C...

Re: Push button for HDL
Hi Ettore, Thanks for your reply, I now have a couple more questions. First off, how do you create the component and second, what is the difference between program and generator. In the first example I found (SPI memory stimulus) the first line is "script generator spitest" and in the othe...

Push button for HDL
Hi,
I am trying to get a button status in to a HDL script so I can switch between 2 routines, there is nothing in the help file (or at least I cannot find anything) and I have not got the manual with me.
Does anyone have simple demo.
Regards,
Bob

Re: TLC5925 shift register model (and gray code)
Hi,
Thanks, that looks like it will do what I need.
Any idea when the next sp will be out?
Regards,
Bob
