Re: Draw PCB lines
Toggle curved cornering (SHIFT+C) or dynamically from the Route Command Centre (keyboard 'R').

Re: Via selection from drill span
The via style is currently part of the net class configuration. If you haven't set up net classes then most likely it will be the default for the SIGNAL net class.

Re: Length Matching a Bus or Multiple traces
You can hold CTRL down and select as many traces as you like, then right click on one of them and either match against each other or to a target length.

Re: Unable to change project name
It will likely be in Layout module , Technology Menu -> Set Board Properties.
For multi-board designs it can also be changed in DXP.

Re: Push and Shove - Vias and Pads
Good suggestion, thanks. I'll open a card.
The only workaround at moment is to toggle off via [sic] Route Command Centre or SHIFT+V

Re: Methods of Connecting Nets between Subcircuits
Ignoring power nets (which are global unless specified otherwise) nets are sheet local. Connecting the nets together is then done by terminals on the child sheet having the same name as ports on the parent sub-circuit. The only alternative to running the connectivity up and down the sub-circuit hier...

Re: Multiple Sheet Subcircuits
No, I understand now. Multiple sheets inside a sub-circuit is not by any means a quick or simple change and there hasn't really been demand. The only suggestion I have is fit to page on print, although that will be near useless if you need go to A1 size sheets. Maybe PDF output instead of paper ? I ...

Re: Multiple Sheet Subcircuits
Note that I want to use subcircuits because I have tens of identical circuit blocks and would not want to try to keep them synchronized in a flat design as I make revisions to the block/subcircuit. Normally you would have multiple sub-circuits on parent sheet (channel1, channel 2 etc.) and you give...

Re: Latest update issue.
Short update. We've identified two use cases where via dragging isn't possible in a particular direction with trace angle lock on. In both cases it works as it used to (point pulling) with trace angle lock turned off (CTRL+K). We agree with the OP that this should work without user thought / keyboar...

Re: Latest update issue.
OK - appreciate the feedback. Looks like there are still issues to look at with SP1 in this respect. 1) If a via can't be moved (and it's not related to snap) then that's a bug. The intended behaviour is to move the via maintaining L45 where possible and to fall back to free format movement if not p...

Re: Latest update issue.
I appreciate that this is a behaviour change so let me first explain the reasons for prioritising 45/90 routes during edits: 1) It's consistent with route placement being 45/90 constrained and the Trace Angle Lock command. Easily disabled/toggled on CTRL+K if necessary. 2) Typically results in fewer...

Re: Removing boundaries from Zone (feature request?)
I've logged a ticket for developer attention. If you could e-mail us one of the problem DXF's so we can reproduce that would be really helpful (support @ labcenter.com).
Thanks,
Iain.
