Re: How to cut on/off Power supply of an IC?

Please attach the Proteus project file here (the file with extention pdsprj), so that we can see what you're attempting to do.
Without it we cannot help you.

Re: memory loss

No. There's nothing that starts a "Reset Persistent Model Data" from Debug menu automatically. During the simulation the MCU may modify the EEPROM contents. When simulation stops, the EEPROM memory is preserved by ISIS and the image of the data is written into the project design (the .pdsp...

Debug->Reset Persistent Model Data ... as I understand the problem.

Re: PIC16F18877 RTC-Read from DS1307

The bugs about the default PPS I2C output pins settings and external interrupt INT to RB0 have been now fixed.
The fix will be in the next service pack.

Re: Constant array in PIC16 program memory

No. Format (6) means not valid type, i.e. unsupported at the present .coff loader.

Re: Constant array in PIC16 program memory

To me that const buffer data are stored into the program memory as the pic1.jpg shows (second line starting at 0x0010. Those ascii data are then pasted into the a[] in the data memory, as pic2.jpg shows. I suppose you are using a very old Proteus version, so that's explains the difference. pic1.jpg ...

Re: PIC16F18877 RTC-Read from DS1307

Hi I found a couple of bugs in that PIC16 family VSM model which we'll fix as soon as possible. I attach a version of your code that I have modified to work as expected. Substantially I've improved your I2C code to make it more reliable and made a workaround because of simulated PIC16 bugs. I recomm...

Re: Method of transmitting and receiving using compim without a simulated microcontroller?

AFAIK the USB simulation works very close to Windows kernel using TCP/IP connection to Proteus USB Driver.

Re: Method of transmitting and receiving using compim without a simulated microcontroller?

As far as I know the compim component authorizes along with the peripheral license keys which are provided, in turn, when you purchase at least one of the VSM microcontroller (MCU) families (Arduino, PIC, AVR, etc). Similarly, the virtual USB work not stand-alone but it is provided for those MCU var...

Re: Method of transmitting and receiving using compim without a simulated microcontroller?

I think I've never heard of adc part featuring rs232 as an output interface to send analogue converted data. You might possibly try with Modelling Primitives in the library, from Mixed mode for ADC and Digital Gates and Counters for the serial section circuitry. Indeed a VSM component made on your o...

Re: Tubes (library)

Which 6AN8 are you talking of ? As far as I can remember (we are on 45/50 years ago time scale) there are more variants: 6AN8A is a pentod+triode, 6AN8P is pentod and 6AN8T is a triode only. Because you post this thread in this forum (schematic capture) I assume you don't need SPICE model. So in the...

Re: APA102 Test Issues

Thanks. I don't believe there is any obscure problem with your code as the led strip works in itself. And it works as well with Arduino library which we have tested for. Unfortunately there is a known issue in the APA102 simulation model, in particular the SDO and CKO signal that affects the cascade...

Yeh, you can. Ideally any basic active component can - buttons, switches, rotary switches, etc.
